Authors and musicians gathered recently at Moon Palace Books in Minneapolis to celebrate the life of Denis Johnson, who died last spring. Excerpts from Denis Johnson's posthumous collection, The Largesse of the Sea Maiden (Random House), were performed by poet Lynette Reini-Grandell, Minnesota musicians Venus DeMars & Sean Tillmann (aka Har Mar Superstar), Rain Taxi editor Eric Lorberer and award-winning author Charles Baxter.
