An established NJ based book wholesaler has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned bookseller or customer focused publishing  person to coordinate sales opportunities within a dynamic sales organization. Bring to us your experience having worked all aspects of the bookselling industry. This role is suitable for someone who is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills, knows how to multitask and has insightful analytic skills. Be an outside the box thinker and self-motivated with creative ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with clients, identifying their needs, and proposing customized solutions based on their specific requests related to freight and logistics
• Coordinate all activities relating to logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
• Liaise effectively with clients, carriers, freight forwarders, and overseas suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Create and maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including customer interactions, sales pipeline, and order status
• Analyze and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to the management team
• Stay current with industry trends and competitor activity

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years of experience in bookselling – retail, wholesale, online or publishing
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to build long-term relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce
