Compass Rose Publishing (CRP) is a full-service book publishing house committed to an innovative alliance within the universe of independent bookstores. Our unique publishing model is founded on establishing a partnership with hundreds of independent bookstores across the country.
CRP’s Bookstore Service Liaison team members (BSL’s) are tasked with forging and maintaining a continuing relationship between CRP and its independent bookstore partners. BSL’s are committed to supporting physical retailers by developing an ongoing two-way relationship that includes providing staff appreciation rewards to valuable independent bookstore employees and promoting CRP books as they are introduced. CRP plans to release eleven books in 2025.
Over one hundred stores have already been recruited to partner with CRP. Our initial goal is to recruit 250 stores with a combined customer base of 500,000 current book buyers.
This is a part time position. Expected time commitment is 8-10 hours per week.
Compensation:
In another unique aspect of our publishing model, BSL’s will receive compensation for all the stores they sign-up for the Rewards program, plus a commission share of CRP books sold through independent bookstores.
This is a 1099/contractor position. All BSL’s work remotely from home and provide their own phone and computer equipment, software, etc.. CRP provides a dedicated email account to each BSL.
