Louise
Yates and Louise Rennison won 2010 Roald Dahl Funny prizes. Yates took
the Funniest Book for Children Aged Six and Under award for Dog Loves Books, while Rennison's Withering Tights topped the Funniest Book for Children Aged Seven to Fourteen category.
Chair of judges Michael Rosen praised Dog Loves Books as an "outrageous idea, beautifully told and illustrated. Sometimes, what you want from a new

is a surprise, something fresh and odd. So this book leaves behind some

with a dog that just wants to read books."
