The "best of show" winner of the 2010 New Mexico Book Awards was Pulitzer: A Life in Politics, Print & Power by James McGrath Morris (HarperCollins), which also won in biography. The best New Mexico book was a tie: The Complete Chile Pepper Book by Dave DeWitt and Paul Bosland (Timber Press) and One Nation One Year by Don James and Karyth Becenti (Rio Grande Books).
