Yesterday we had the right dates--December 6-8--but the wrong days of
the week for the grand opening events for the new Old Dominion
University Bookstore, Norfolk, Va.: the events include signings
Thursday by Joanne Steen and Regina Asaro, authors of Military Widow, and David Poyer, author of Korea Strait and on Friday by David Baldacci, author of Stone Cold.
On Friday, there will be a ribbon cutting, music and photo
opportunities with Big Blue and ODU cheerleaders, and on Saturday, the
store hosts a story time with Curious George.
