Gottwals Books, which operates four used bookstores in Georgia, is exploring the possibility of selling franchises nationally. According to 13WMAZ, the Gottwal family has "hired a California-based firm to complete the franchising process.... Clients who franchise Gottwals Books will be able to purchase full rights to their own bookstores with full consultation trademark rights and training." Gottwals opened its Warner Robins store in 2007, and has since added shops in Byron, Macon and Perry.
