The much-anticipated opening of Catalina Coffee & Café inside the Mysterious Galaxy's Redondo Beach bookstore is happening this week. According to the bookshop's e-newsletter, the café offers a space where customers "can come in and visit with the new staff, try some complimentary baked goods and purchase their fabulous coffee or other drinks and treats. Then you can have a cozy seat and enjoy reading the great book you just bought from Mysterious Galaxy!"
