George R.R. Martin and Tom Doherty, president and publisher of Tor Books, were in Providence, R.I., last Thursday to receive Brown University Library's inaugural Harris Award--which "celebrates the influence of literature in pop culture"--and took the opportunity to visit H.P. Lovecraft's grave.
