On Monday, Borderlands Books in San Francisco hosted John Scalzi for a midday author event to celebrate the release of The End of All Things (Tor), the latest book in Scalzi's Old Man's War series (which is now in development as a TV series for Syfy). Scalzi entertained a lunch hour crowd of more than 70, covering a range of topics, from writing the Old Man's War books to his recent multimillion-dollar, 13-book deal with Tor Books to the controversies over this year's Hugo Awards.
