Former Bookstore Becomes Bookish Hotel

The former Kennett Bookhouse in Kennett Square, Pa., is now the Bookhouse Hotel, which held a grand opening celebration on October 22. Per the Chester County Press, the Kennett Bookhouse left behind some 5,000 books, which are now filling the shelves of the hotel's guest rooms. Guests are welcome to borrow books during their stay, and if they're unable to finish before leaving, the books have QR codes linking to Bookshop.org. Currently, the rooms are not themed by genre or titles.

Owners Stephanie and Matt Olenik are also planning a Hotel Book Club, with details to be announced.
