Japan Society of New York hosted Natalie Anna Jacobsen (right) for a talk and book signing in celebration of the release of her debut novel, Ghost Train (SelectBooks), a YA historical fantasy set in 1877 Kyoto, during the early years of the Meiji Restoration. The book tells the story of a former samurai's daughter who is thrust into a life very different from what she was used to before the Meiji Restoration.
