Plenty of indie bookstores across the U.S. celebrated Plaid Friday. The American Booksellers Association highlighted booksellers at Scout & Morgan Books, Cambridge, Minn., and Once Upon a Time Bookstore, Montrose Calif., noting: "Are you rocking plaid today? Happy #PlaidFriday! This day is all about celebrating the creativity and diversity of local and independent businesses. Skip the big box madness and enjoy a fun, relaxed shopping experience while supporting your community. How are you celebrating Plaid Friday?"
