"We agree, smelling books is better than smelling smoke," Woven Words Bookshop in Akron, Ohio, posted on Instagram in response to the dangerous smoke conditions that have resulted from recent wildfires.
"One of our friends and customers Kara from @opentrailcollective was in the store this morning with her kids, and we were chatting about the impact our actions have on our surrounding community and larger world," the bookstore added. "If the wildfire smoke has sparked an interest for you in reading some climate fiction or non-fiction, here are a few suggestions we found on our own shelves."
