"Often--we get asked 'what do you make as a small business owner?' " Little Blue Pigeon Bookstore in Denver, Colo., noted in a social media post, adding that "we know that this question refers to our financials, but what we actually make is so much more than just numbers on a computer screen." So they made a video... and a list:
"We make community.
We make wonder.
We make inspiration.
We make memories.
We make joy.
We make belonging.
"And these are the aspects that give us our 'why.' Not the bank statements. Come visit us on 1413 Larimer St., or join us for one of our many events in the month of August. We can't wait to welcome you in."
