Jeff McLaughlin Joins Abrams as Head of Business Development

Jeff McLaughlin has joined Abrams in the newly created role of senior v-p, business development, effective August 10. Abrams said the position "is designed to accelerate the company's growth in customer proprietary programs, strategic partnerships, and new revenue channels beyond traditional publishing. In this role, McLaughlin will lead the strategic expansion of Abrams' Customer Proprietary Solutions business."

McLaughlin has more than 30 years of publishing, merchandising, product development, and business-building experience . Most recently, he was senior v-p, group publisher at Insight Editions. Previously, McLaughlin held senior leadership roles at Australian publisher Hinkler, Books-A-Million, Quarto Publishing Group, Barnes & Noble, and Advanced Marketing Services.
