The Book Industry Study Group is marking its 50th anniversary this year with a Book Publishing Next Forum and Anniversary Celebration on September 16 at the New York Historical (formerly the New-York Historical Society). As a prelude, BISG has been holding regional parties to celebrate the anniversary. One BISG@50 Meet-Up took place recently at Parnassus Books in Nashville, Tenn.
