Amazon 'Probably Destroyed a Million Jobs'

Hanauer "was the first nonfamily investor in Amazon.com in 1995, betting all the cash he had at the time--$45,000--on the nascent Internet bookseller. When he sold his Amazon stock in 2000, it was worth more than $100 million," the Times wrote.
