Eight prospective bookstore owners from seven states attended the Business of Bookselling workshop at Story & Song Bookstore Bistro on Amelia Island, Fla., facilitated by the Bookstore Training Group of Paz & Associates. Over the course of three days, they learned best practices for daily bookstore management, from buying and inventory management to links to key book industry sources, staffing, and marketing.
