The Globe Pequot Publishing Group has bought C&T Publishing, Concord, Calif., which was founded in 1983 by Carolie and Tom Hensley. The company publishes books, instructional products, and holds online classes for makers in quilting, sewing, embroidery, watercolor, paper crafting, and cosplay.
C&T Publishing joins Globe Pequot's imprints and brands, including Stash Books, Kansas City Star Quilts, FanPowered Press, and FunStitch Studio, and will continue to publish under the C&T name. The acquisition includes C&T's full backlist of more than 1,800 active titles.

C&T titles will continue to be sold and distributed by Simon & Schuster, which also distributes Globe Pequot.
