"It's Banned Books Week this week and all banned and challenged books are 15% off through Saturday, October 10," Sulfur Books in Clifton Springs, N.Y., posted. "Our banned and challenged section got a little upgrade just in time. If you've ever been curious as to why a book is in that section, we now have that information right on the shelf. Unfortunately, given the astonishing number of challenges and book bans taking place, we don't have room for all of them. But if you're curious, just ask. We will be posting all week and sharing information from the American Library Association regarding the statistics around book bans, censorship, and the fight for the freedom to read."
