National Account Manager, B&N

Position: Full-Time, Hybrid
In this position, the National Account Manager is required to sell in monthly and keep estimates updated in our system. The Account Manager must provide up front guidance as well as regular ongoing feedback on titles, at sell-in through on-sale. This position will work closely with another B&N account manager, including joint monthly meetings with B&N. This role requires creating and maintaining strong relationships with the B&N category managers, buying team, and across the account.
Qualifications Include:
• Minimum 3-5 years of active selling experience in the publishing industry is required
• Exceptional interpersonal skills needed with the ability to effectively communicate with varied personalities at the account as well as all levels of management
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage many projects simultaneously while attending to details and deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Edelweiss
• Passionate, dedicated reader
