Position: Full-Time, Remote

Publicity Manager/Director

Cave Henricks Communications is looking for an exceptional candidate with ten or more years of book publicity experience to spearhead campaigns for our selective, nonfiction list.  We represent leading business thinkers, academics, CEOs, founders, entrepreneurs, and those contributing big ideas to public conversations.

You’ll need superior written and verbal communication skills, a track record of high-level media results, an aptitude for quick, thorough, and effective research, a deep interest in business, personal development and big think books and authors, and the ability to manage 7-8 projects a year with keen attention to detail.

 Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Creating and executing strategic plans and pitches
  • Managing author relationships and providing day-to-day author support
  • Developing effective outreach and follow-up to print, online, broadcast, podcast, and non-traditional media
  • Placing op-eds, essays, and excepts
  • Having a team-player mindset with publishers and within our firm

 Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years of book publicity experience

We represent between 25 and 35 titles a year, with each publicist leading seven titles per year.
